Dust is dangerous and may harm the lungs and lead to allergic reactions if in contact with the skin.<\/p>\n<p>Torkapparater offers different combinations of dust recovery and dust cleaning systems that meet emission levels and are adapted to the respective processes.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cyclones<\/li>\n<li>Scrubbing<\/li>\n<li>Gas condensation<\/li>\n<li>Textile filters and wet electrostatic precipitators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The indirect drying principle contributes to the minimisation of dust carry over. Especially when teh drying is made at high dew points it is important that the dust handling system is made with the correct componnets in order not to disrupt teh heat recovery. Materials handling as e.g. for classification is also important.<\/p>\n<p>The indirect heat supply principle generates many possibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Low speed of rotation<\/li>\n<li>High logevity<\/li>\n<li>Limited ventilation flow minimises low carry over<\/li>\n<li>Automatic granulation of specific dusty materials minmises dust formation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deodorisation<\/strong><br \/>\nTorkapparater has long experience for odorous materials e.g. municipal sludges. For these materials we recommend the indirect drying principle that generates a limited smelling ventilation flow. Ventilation with air may, after condensation of the vapours, enable post combusting of the smells as part of the combustion air in the hot gas generator for the process.<\/p>\n<p>A special deodorisation system with sufficient temperature and residence time enables a guaranteed smell-free process. If no combustion is in place we can supply different types of intelligent biofilters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Materials handling<\/strong><br \/>\nTorkapparater supplies systems for materials handling from inlet feed to final product. We have broad experience to handle most materials and select the best materials handling technology. This is an appreciated safety for our client's process availability.<\/p>\n<p>Torkapparater works with the following equipment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Belt conveyors<\/li>\n<li>Scale conveyors<\/li>\n<li>Bucket elevators<\/li>\n<li>Sliding frame feeders<\/li>\n<li>Oscillating conveyors<\/li>\n<li>Scraping conveyors<\/li>\n<li>Shaftless screw conveyors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the risk of explosion as a cause of dust generating materials, Torkapparater designs air tight, air free conveyors working with internally produced inert gases that do not react with the surrounding athosphere.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Granulation and pelletisation<\/strong><br \/>\nFor many materials we can accomplish drying and granulation at the same time. Materials handling as well as rheolocical conditions within our dryers generate ideal conditions for the formation of granules.
